Scary Ones

You don’t have to hate
Every kind of snake
If you take the time
To learn about us.

Iguanas, lizards
Lying in the sun
I wouldn’t hurt anyone
Though you think I’m ugly
My friend snake
Thinks I’m cute
And we’ve got a song for you
And it goes like this:

CHORUS:
We are not the scary ones
Have you ever had a look at yourself
We are not the scary ones
You’d better take a good look at yourself.
You should be very glad
You shouldn’t makes us so sad
We keep nature in balance for you.

I’m a quiet spider
Waiting for my prey
And if a fly comes near
I’ll get it out of your way.

I’m a hard working bee
Going from flower to flower
I won’t sting you
If you don’t bug me.

If you had to walk sideways
Like us crabs do
You’d probably end up
Being a crabby crab too.

See you later alligator
What do you mean?
If I knock at your door
Would you be making for me
A nice cup of tea
Or would I hear you scream…get out!

REPEAT CHORUS

I’m a skinny weasel
But I’m never afraid
Of the farmer’s gun
So I might take a few eggs
Just like the farmer’s done
I guess we’re both having fun
But not those chickens.

REPEAT CHORUS
